Hydrocarbon Refrigeration – Level 2 Award
Our Hydrocarbon Refrigeration Course is a specialist training programme designed to provide engineers with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely work with hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants, such as propane (R290) and isobutane (R600a).
Hydrocarbon refrigerants are increasingly used due to their low environmental impact and high energy efficiency, but they are also flammable, requiring specific safety procedures and handling techniques.
This course focuses on ensuring safe installation, servicing, and maintenance of hydrocarbon-based refrigeration systems in compliance with industry standards.
