Collaborative report will be presented to heads of state at next Montreal Protocol meeting
The seventh edition of the collaborative global publication from Centro Studi Galileo, United Nations Environment Programme and the International Institute of Refrigeration is to be presented to heads of state next month at the next meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol. The 30th meeting of the parties takes place in Quito, Ecuador on November 5-9.
The publication features 20 papers from leading global associations and experts, including UNEP, IIR, AREA, AHRI, ASHRAE and EPEE. The partners says the report addresses the current situation, challenges, opinions and possible solutions for the industry. Among the authors is Kelvin Kelly of Business Edge, talking about training internationally to F-Gas standards.
The International Special Issue is now in ts 12th year of publication, having been regularly distributed at UN meetings to all heads of state, association presidents and government representatives The partners say it provides a useful tool to legislate in the direction of greater environmental protection and the maintenance of those benefits that the RAC sector provides to the world population.
