COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
We are open and following COVID-19 secure guidelines.
Update as of 5th January 2021 –
We are currently open as normal following the recent government announcement.
If you are due to attend any of our in-centre courses, please come along! It is our duty to ensure all of our students receive the essential training that we provide and prepare them to work in any given situation – including real-life challenges such as COVID-19.
All of our classrooms and communal areas have the necessary precautions in place to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed. It’s extremely important to us that everybody is in a safe environment.
Our online courses are also continuing as normal.
If the situation changes, we will update anybody who has booked a course with us as soon as possible.
As per the guidance below, should you wish to transfer your course due to hotel accommodation issues, this can be arranged to the next convenient date for you without penalty.
Travelling out of your local area is allowed if it’s for work or education purposes.
We have carried out full risk assessments and have made changes to all our centres in-line with Government guidelines, including providing PPE for workshops, sanitiser for all students, and are now open on a reduced capacity to comply with social distancing. All our centre’s have enhanced cleaning routines with sanitising stations throughout and face coverings must be worn in all communal areas.
We have invested in larger new premises to enable.
All centres operate under a risk assessment for the protection of customers & staff
What if I book my training and I am forced to lockdown or a centre has to close due to Government restrictions?
These are unprecedented times and you are able to move your dates without penalty, this has allowed hundreds of people to book with confidence.
As we want to be able to provide training to candidates during this time it’s important that we help reduce the spread, face coverings are required for our centres unless there is an exemption certificate issued. Communal areas have the closest contact and this is why we have to take this stance.
Developing online courses for students wishing to extend their knowledge, we now offer the following courses:
- Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation to BS7671: 2018 AMD 1
- Electrical Safety Management
- Electrified Heat
- Risk and Safety Management for Engineers: Communication/Monitoring
- Risk and Safety Management for Engineers: Risk Evaluation & Risk Treatment
