Programmable Logic Controllers
Our Programmable Logic Controllers 5 Day course is an advanced training programme designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to program, operate, and fault-find Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
PLCs are widely used in industrial automation to control machinery and processes in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, and engineering. This course focuses on developing competence in PLC programming, system design, and diagnostics, preparing learners for roles in automation and control engineering.
The course is the UK's first and only PLC course accredited by City & Guilds. The typical 5 day course usually covers 2 or 3 of the major manufacturers: Siemens S7, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi (this can be amended to other manufacturers if you have a particular requirement). The course aims to be 90% practical — every student works on their own dedicated training rig and computer.
